LVE Orion II V1 coils: specifications and compatibility

LVE Orion II coils are replaceable heating elements intended for compatible pods used with the Orion II kit. They use a Mesh structure and are available in several resistance values.

This product description concerns Orion II V1 coils. V1 and V2 generations are not interchangeable: you must check the version of the pod you are using.

The different Orion II coils

• 0,4 ohm : use between 26 and 32 watts, RDL to DL draw.
• 0,6 ohm : use between 17 and 20 watts, RDL draw.
• 0,8 ohm : use between 12 and 16 watts, MTL draw.
• 1,2 ohm : use between 10 and 12 watts, MTL draw.

Availability of resistance values may vary depending on deliveries and the versions offered for sale.

Compatibility with the Orion II kit

V1 coils are designed for compatible Orion II V1 pods. They must not be confused with V2 coils used with second-generation pods.

Before replacing a coil, check your pod version and the product reference printed on the coil packaging.

How to replace an Orion II coil

1. Switch off your Orion II kit.
2. Remove the pod from the device.
3. Carefully take out the used coil.
4. Insert a new compatible coil into its housing.
5. Fill the pod if necessary.
6. Wait around five minutes after filling to allow the coil to become fully saturated.
7. Refit the pod and set the wattage according to the resistance value being used.

When should you replace the coil?

Reduced flavour, an unusual taste or decreased vapour production may indicate that a coil is worn out. Its lifespan varies according to use, the selected wattage and the e-liquid used.
