Electronic Cigarette Accus Charger: Choose a compatible model

One electronic cigarette charge charger allows to recharge removable batteries used in certain electronic boxes, mods and electronic pipes. Unlike electronic cigarettes equipped with an integrated battery, these devices operate with one or more batteries that can be removed when the manufacturer so requires.

At RoyalCig find a selection of Chargers for 18650, 21700 and 18350, depending on the compatibility of each reference. External chargers exist in different formats, with one or more locations and load characteristics specific to each model.

Before choosing a charger, it is essential to check its compatibility with La Technologie, the dimensions and electrical characteristics of your batteries.

Why use an external charger for his charges?

One external battery charger is designed to recharge compatible batteries independently of electronic cigarette.

Depending on the models, it can be used to load one or more batteries, display their state of charge or offer different charging currents.

The charger shall, however, be adapted to the accumulators used. The fact that an battery enters a location physically does not guarantee its electrical compatibility.

Chargers for 18650, 21700 and 18350

Charger for Accu 18650

The battery charger 18650is intended for accumulators of this format when listed as compatible references. The 18650 batteries are used in many electronic boxes and in some models of electronic pipes.

It should be verified that the charger accepts La Techno Lithium-ion logic of the battery and respects its load parameters.

Charger for accu 21700

The charger accu 21700must have a space large enough to accommodate this format, the nominal dimensions of which are greater than those of a 18650.

All chargers compatible with 18650 batteries do not necessarily support 21700 batteries. Check accepted dimensions and manufacturer's instructions.

Charger for accu 18350

The battery charger 18350is intended for more compact accumulators used in particular in certain e-pipes.

The charge current shall be appropriate to the characteristics of the cell. A charging power adapted to a larger battery is not automatically suitable for an 18350 battery.

Single charger or charger at multiple locations?

Accus loader at a location

One single charger allows to recharge a compatible battery at once. Its compact format can be suitable for equipment running with a single removable battery.

Some models, such as XTAR's Slim K1 family chargers, are designed around a unique location. The exact list of batteries and formats accepted by the marketed version must be checked.

Charger for two locations

One Dual charger allows for two compatible accumulators. Depending on its design, locations may have independent load control.

This characteristic shall be confirmed in the manufacturer's specifications. The presence of two locations does not necessarily mean that all combinations of charges can be reloaded simultaneously.

Charger at four or more locations

Some models offer four or more locations. They can be adapted to users with multiple removable charging devices.

The characteristics to be checked include the available current per location, accepted formats and simultaneous charging possibilities.

How to check compatibility between charger and battery?

To choose a electronic cigarette battery charger Several criteria need to be considered:

• La Technology:verify that the charger supports the type of accumulator used, including lithium-ion when used.
• Format:check compatibility with 18350, 18650, 21700 or any other format concerned.
• End of charge voltage:it must meet the battery specifications.
• The charge current:it shall remain within the limits recommended by the manufacturer of the Accu.
• The real dimensions:check that the Accu can be installed correctly without forcing.
• Feeding:use a power source that meets the requirements of the charger.

In case of uncertainty on any of these features, do not use the set until it has confirmed its compatibility.

Understand charge current in milliampers

The charge current is usually expressed in milliampers (mA)or in amps (A). It corresponds to the electrical intensity provided to the accumulator during part of the charging process.

Some chargers offer several selectable intensities or automatic power management, depending on their design.

The highest current is not necessarily the most suitable. The limits prescribed by the manufacturer of the battery must be respected, particularly for small cells.

What charger for an electronic Créavap pipe?

The artisanal electronic pipes Créavap exist in different configurations using removable batteries. The appropriate charger depends on the format and electrical characteristics of the battery used.

Charger for Créavap Bent and Billiard 18350

Models Créavap Bent 18350and Créavap Billiard 18350use 18350 format batteries. A charger explicitly compatible with this format and the characteristics of the battery must be chosen.

Charger for Créavap Dublin and Gandalf

Configurations Créavap Dublin 18650and Gandalf DNA 60using a 18650 battery require a charger suitable for this battery when the external charging is selected.

The shape of the pipe does not determine the authorized charge current: the specifications of the accumulator and charger must be met.

Recharge by USB or with an external charger: what differences?

Some electronic boxes have an integrated charging system accessible by USB. Other equipment requires the removal of the accumulator to recharge it with an external device.

The choice of the load method shall comply with the manufacturer's instructions. The simple presence of a USB port on a device does not guarantee that all charging functions are available.

For multi-accumulation devices, the recharging and pairing recommendations should be followed carefully.

Safety precautions for charging batteries

The charging of a lithium-ion accuu requires precautions to limit the risk of short circuit, overheating and deterioration.

To use a charger in good conditions:

• Use only a compatible charger in good condition.
• Respect the installation direction indicated for each battery.
• Never recharge a damaged, distorted or leaking cell.
• Do not place the charger on a flammable surface and do not cover its ventilation openings.
• Do not leave the recharge unattended, especially at night.
• Avoid excessive temperatures and comply with the manufacturer's conditions of use.
• Remove the charges in accordance with the instructions when the charging is complete.

If an battery or charger has abnormal heating, unusual smell or suspicious behaviour, stop using it under conditions that protect your safety.

How to maintain a charge charger?

Before any maintenance operation, disconnect the charger from its power supply and remove the batteries if the manufacturer's instructions permit.

Keep clean and dry contacts. Do not use a charger with distorted contacts, damaged cable or damaged housing.

A charger shall not be immersed in water. Follow the maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer.
