Dessert E-liquids

Dessert E-Liquids: Discover Sweet and Bakery-Inspired Vape Flavours

Dessert e-liquids feature flavour combinations inspired by pastries, cakes, creams, confectionery and other sweet treats. They recreate aromatic notes of vanilla, caramel, chocolate, biscuits, nuts and custard for compatible electronic cigarettes.

Unlike primarily fruity or tobacco-inspired e-liquids, dessert flavours generally offer smoother, creamier, sweeter or bakery-inspired profiles.

At RoyalCig, explore different types of dessert e-liquids, from delicate vanilla recipes to rich caramel, cream, hazelnut and coffee blends.

Choosing the right e-liquid also involves considering its PG/VG ratio, nicotine strength and compatibility with your vaping device.

Different Types of Dessert E-Liquids

Vanilla E-Liquids: Smooth and Creamy

Vanilla e-liquids are among the most popular flavour profiles in dessert-inspired vaping recipes. Vanilla can be enjoyed alone or combined with cream, caramel, biscuits and nuts.

Depending on the manufacturer, vanilla blends may resemble a light vanilla flavour, a creamy dessert or a richer baked recipe.

Vanilla and caramel or vanilla and cream combinations are particularly common in dessert e-liquids.

Caramel E-Liquids: Rich Sweet Flavours

Caramel e-liquids recreate aromatic profiles inspired by melted caramel, salted caramel and caramelised desserts.

Popular combinations include:

• Caramel and vanilla.
• Caramel and hazelnut.
• Caramel and biscuit.
• Caramel and coffee.
• Caramel and cream.

These recipes generally offer rounded, sweet flavour profiles with varying intensity depending on the manufacturer.

Custard E-Liquids: Creamy Vanilla Desserts

Custard e-liquids are inspired by vanilla custard and creamy dessert recipes.

They generally combine vanilla notes with a rich, smooth and creamy aromatic character.

Some custard blends also incorporate caramel, biscuit, pastry or nut flavours.

They are worth exploring for vapers who appreciate vanilla desserts and complex sweet flavour combinations.

Biscuit, Cookie and Pastry E-Liquids

Biscuit e-liquids draw inspiration from cookies, shortbread, cakes and bakery recipes.

Common flavour inspirations include:

• Chocolate chip cookies.
• Vanilla biscuits.
• Fruit tarts.
• Madeleine cakes.
• Soft sponge cakes.
• Brioche and French toast.

These bakery-inspired flavours may be combined with creams, fruits or caramelised notes to create more elaborate recipes.

Chocolate, Hazelnut and Praline E-Liquids

Chocolate lovers can explore chocolate e-liquids, sometimes combined with hazelnut, caramel or vanilla.

Nuts also feature prominently in sweet e-liquid recipes, including roasted hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios and praline.

These combinations evoke aromatic profiles inspired by desserts, chocolate spreads and nut-based pastries.

Coffee, Cappuccino and Cereal E-Liquids

Dessert e-liquids are not limited to cakes and pastries.

Some recipes are inspired by hot drinks, including coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate, as well as creamy beverage combinations.

Cereal flavours, sometimes paired with milk, vanilla or caramel, are another category of sweet vaping recipes.

How to Choose a Dessert E-Liquid

To choose your dessert-flavoured e-liquid, start with the sweet flavours you enjoy most.

• Creamy desserts: Explore vanilla custard and cream flavours.
• Caramel notes: Choose caramel or salted caramel recipes.
• Biscuits and pastries: Discover cookies, shortbread and cake-inspired e-liquids.
• Chocolate flavours: Try chocolate, hazelnut or praline blends.
• Coffee flavours: Explore coffee, cappuccino and coffee-dessert combinations.

Some dessert e-liquids have a pronounced sweet taste, while others are more delicate and balanced. Check each product description for its exact flavour profile.

10ml and 50ml Dessert E-Liquids: Which Size to Choose?

10ml Dessert E-Liquids

10ml dessert e-liquids are generally available ready to vape, with or without nicotine.

Depending on the brand, nicotine strengths may include 3, 6, 12 or 18mg/ml.

This size is convenient for trying a new flavour before choosing a larger bottle.

50ml Dessert E-Liquids

50ml dessert e-liquids are generally sold nicotine-free in shortfill formats designed for adding nicotine boosters.

The available space for boosters depends on the bottle capacity.

How to Add Nicotine to a 50ml Dessert E-Liquid

Starting with 50ml of nicotine-free e-liquid:

• No booster: 50ml at 0mg/ml.
• One 10ml booster at 20mg/ml: 60ml at approximately 3.3mg/ml.
• Two 10ml boosters at 20mg/ml: 70ml at approximately 5.7mg/ml.

Always check the available bottle capacity before mixing. Use a suitable mixing bottle if necessary.

Nicotine boosters are sold separately unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Which Nicotine Strength for a Dessert E-Liquid?

Nicotine strength should be selected according to nicotine dependence, previous smoking habits and the power of the vaping device.

Low-powered devices are generally more suitable for higher nicotine concentrations, while devices producing larger amounts of vapour are commonly used with lower strengths.

The sweetness of an e-liquid does not determine its nicotine content.

For personalised advice, consult a healthcare professional or smoking cessation specialist.

Which PG/VG Ratio Is Best for Dessert E-Liquids?

The PG/VG ratio affects e-liquid viscosity, flavour delivery, throat sensation and vapour production.

70/30 PG/VG: Thinner E-Liquids

An e-liquid containing 70% propylene glycol and 30% vegetable glycerine is generally thinner and offers a more noticeable throat sensation.

It can be suitable for many compatible low-powered devices.

50/50 PG/VG: A Versatile Balance

50/50 dessert e-liquids provide a balance between flavour reproduction and vapour production.

They work with many compatible pods and tanks, particularly for mouth-to-lung (MTL) and restricted direct lung (RDL) vaping.

30/70 PG/VG: Higher Vapour Production

E-liquids containing 70% vegetable glycerine are thicker and are generally intended for devices capable of efficiently supplying higher-viscosity liquids to their coils.

They are commonly used with suitable direct lung devices.

Always check coil compatibility with the selected PG/VG ratio.

Which Vaping Device Should You Use with Dessert E-Liquids?

Dessert e-liquids can be used with various types of electronic cigarettes depending on their formulation.

• MTL pods: Suitable for many thinner or balanced liquids.
• MTL tanks: Offer moderate-power vaping with compatible coils.
• RDL pods: Provide an intermediate draw depending on airflow and coil resistance.
• DL tanks: Suitable for selected higher-VG e-liquids.

Using an appropriate wattage and a coil in good condition helps preserve flavour quality.

Do Dessert E-Liquids Wear Out Coils Faster?

Some dessert e-liquids containing high flavouring or sweetener levels may cause coils to accumulate residue more quickly.

Coil lifespan also depends on the liquid composition, wattage and frequency of use.

Reduced flavour, darkened cotton or a burnt taste can indicate that coil replacement is necessary.

Always respect the coil manufacturer's recommended wattage and maintain an adequate e-liquid level.

Dessert E-Liquids vs Gourmet Tobacco E-Liquids

A dessert e-liquid primarily features flavours inspired by sweets, creams, pastries and confectionery.

A gourmet tobacco e-liquid combines a tobacco-inspired flavour with sweeter notes such as caramel, vanilla or hazelnut.

For example, a vanilla-caramel recipe generally belongs to the dessert category, while a blonde tobacco, hazelnut and caramel blend may be classified as gourmet tobacco.

At RoyalCig, you can discover tobacco-inspired recipes in our Tobacco E-Liquids category.

Do Dessert E-Liquids Need Steeping?

Ready-to-vape dessert e-liquids generally do not require additional steeping.

After adding nicotine boosters, shake the bottle thoroughly to blend the mixture.

Some complex custard, cream or bakery-inspired recipes may develop different aromatic characteristics after resting for several days.

The appropriate resting time depends on the recipe and manufacturer recommendations. There is no universal steeping period for all dessert e-liquids.
