The RPM100 SMOK Kit: A New Range of Compact Pods

The RPM100 SMOK Kit is a new range of compact pods designed to follow vapers wherever they go. Measuring 136 x 36 x 29mm and weighing just 136g, this kit features IML (In Mold Labeling) technology, which underlines the brand's expertise. In this article, we're going to take a closer look at this durable kit, which offers great autonomy and fairly substantial power.

A long-lasting kit

The RPM 100 SMOK Kit is fitted with a 21700 battery (not supplied) or an 18650 battery (thanks to the adapter supplied), which offers long battery life and fairly substantial power. This kit can last a full day even at maximum capacity, i.e. at 100W of power. What's more, you can vary the power, which starts at a minimum of 5W.

The RPM 100 has a 0.96-inch TFT colour display to keep an eye on the kit's operation, power usage and remaining battery life. This attractive screen is located on the front panel just between the main activation button and the '+' and '-' selection buttons.

A well thought-out front panel layout

On the front of the RPM100 SMOK Kit, just below the screen and buttons, you'll find the USB Type-C port for recharging. However, we still strongly recommend recharging via an external battery charger.

A rotating airflow system and a well-thought-out cartridge

The RPM 100 kit is completed by the RPM3 cartridge with a capacity of 6ml, which is enough to enjoy the flavours of the e-liquid without having to recharge too often. Recharging is done from the top, after shifting the top cap. The RPM3 cartridge clips on and off easily thanks to its magnetic connection with the pod.

Finally, to replace the resistor, there is a childproof latch that allows the cartridge to be emptied from the bottom. Speaking of resistors, the cartridge is compatible with Smok's RPM3 resistors. In particular, the cartridge is sold with a 0.15 ohm resistor and a 0.23 ohm resistor. So we're looking at a kit that specialises in a thick, airy DL draw.

The kit also has a rotating ring to change the airflow, so you can create a dense, thick, airy vapour. Note that the RPM100 kit is also compatible with all RPM2 resistors, but for this you need an RPM2 cartridge (sold separately).
